[17:00 - 18:00] Use cases for the civil society sector and a focus on creating and capturing impact for unlocking capital

A research on use cases for the civil society sector is presented and an in depth talk is given of how impact can be captured and tracked. Blockchain Society Lab, ixo.foundation + The Spindle have joined forces to help Blockchain be applied for social good.

Several themes that are relevant for the civil society sector will be discussed by Yvo Hunink, who did research for The Spindle (powered by Partos). Thereafter, Julian Sommer, representing the Peace Innovation Institute and ixo.foundation, shall give an overview of how capturing and tracking impact can be done with Blockchain, helping any kind of organization to effectively and transparently track the results of their activities. There will be room for an open discussion, allowing stakeholders of the sector to be actively engaged. Join us there!

[18:10 - 19:10] Designing a use case proposal and unlocking capital

Do you want to apply Blockchain to help humanity? Have the chance to put your own insights to use. Come to this interactive workshop, where we will form groups and co-create a first project proposal for a government subsidy of a Blockchain for social good project.

With the help of a tool that quickly shows all use cases being proposed for Blockchain in the humanitarian sector, we rapidly go through what is possible in this exciting world. The Blockchain Society Lab and The Spindle actively help you create a first proposal that could be relevant for your organization or just for personal interest. During this hour, we will form groups and actively learn from each other, having the chance to present the formed ideas at the end. Join us!
